Halls, Facilities and Land for Hire

Anston Parish Hall belongs to the Anston Parish Council Recreation Ground Charity of which the Parish Council is the sole trustee.

There are two rooms available to hire at the Hall for meetings and events, between 9am and 11pm. The larger Main Hall which can accommodate up to 180 people standing and 90 seated and can be hired for £16.53 an hour, and the smaller Middle Hall which can accommodate up to 100 people standing and 60 seating can be hired for £13.23 per hour. Both rooms have kitchen facilities and tables and chairs are available. Groups hiring either room 30 or more times a year are eligible for a 25% discount (Sundays and bank holidays will be charged at double time).

Inflatables are not permitted in the Parish Hall. Permission must be sought from Anston Parish Council to sell or consume alcohol on the premises.

The recreation ground itself can hired for galas and other events for the cost of £50 for every four hours.

The Recreation Ground Charity maintains a bowling green which can be hired by clubs for £1,826 per season and a small sports pavilion which can be hired for £11 an hour.

The Parish Council owns Rackford Meadow and the field can be hired for events. If you are interested in doing so then please contact the Clerk to the Council.

We have two allotment sites, North and South Anston.

There is currently more than 40 people on the wait list and there are no allotments available.
